POLITICS

This is lovely Greece.
Early Monday morning Nov. 8th right after municipal elections, all political parties are happy for the results.
All increased their shares, how come this can happen? The moment the abstention was 40% still parties talk about success. Even the best mathematician give up – can’t explain such miracles happening only in Greece.

Prime Minister was threatening for general elections if his candidates won’t be elected (sometimes have the idea this guy is forgetting that he is just executive officer of IMF and not really running the country),
the chief of the opposition was criticizing all this time the government for wrong decisions, saying that he knew how to solve Greek deficit problems was pressing for general elections but the moment he realized that might come true, he stepped back in the way “ it was just a joke….”, as for the other parties they criticize and criticize being always on the safe side as they know they would never become governors – they would never been called to practice what they suggest.

Suppose something similar is happening also in other countries but surely not that funny like here in Greece, where 2 families are running the government the past 50 years: Karamanlis and Papandreou.
And 4-5 other families are running the ministries, you see in Greece being elected is a right of succession. Like you get the house from your father when he dies.

As for the citizens of this country, undecided we just watch them.
Our opposition to what is happening, our revolution to the bad politics and all the problems we face lately in our country is focused only to abstention from the municipal elections…

Pity, for a country with a long history, a civilization that was admired, the country that first had democracy and people rights- we arrived to the point that we forget about our rights and we just follow leaders like sheep.

This has to end, nothing hurts like the truth,
but we should find and accept truth and then we can and we should fight for our country.
