So what if the espresso in a cafeteria at Champs- Elysees, Paris cost 2,50 eur - at SDG airport just 1,90 while at Aristotelous Square in Thessaloniki it’s 4,50 eur
So what if the lowest salary in France is eur 1.100 eur while in Greece is just 590 eur.
So what if in Paris they have an extended network of public transportation, in Thessaloniki besides bus we have taxi. Taxi is a public transportation mean for sure, since you are never the only passenger there, the taxi driver on his way to your destination gets also other passengers that are going to the same direction and in order to serve all of them he is not dropping you exactly at the point you want but somewhere around and he is also giving you instructions how to walk to arrive to the point you want.
And of course each passenger pays separately, the passengers are happy they are sitting on the taxi and not standing on the bus and the taxi driver is getting paid 3 or 4 times for just one ride.
So what if the detergent I am using cost here in Greece eur 19,00 while same brand exactly in Germany cost eur 11,50
So what if 1 kg of feta cheese here in the country that produces feta cost eur 7-9 per kg, in Germany it cost just eur 5,90 !!
So what if olive oil of a well-known Greek company cost eur 19,50 and the same brand in Holland cost eur 12,40 !!
and we all say nothing about these, we just accept everything that comes to our daily life.
I feel embarrassed, I have to do something. I will do something about it.
